Aaliyah Dana Haughton came into fame in 1994, after she dropped her debut album Age Ain't Nothing More Than A number. At the age of 15 years old, the album earned Gold recognition. R. Kelly heavily influenced the collaboration and brought her into the spotlight. In the year 1996, Jermaine Durpri along with Timbaland worked together to create her sophomore album One In A Million. The album included the song If Your Boyfriend only knew as the lead single one. Aaliyah gained international fame for her R&B singing on the release of this album. In 2000 she starred in the romance and action film Romeo Must Die alongside martial artist Jet-Li. Joel Silver spotted her in an awards show. Queen of the Damned was her first role in 2002. It is based off the Anne Rice novel. She then got into the Matrix with her role as Zee on The Matrix Sequels having also been in The Matrix Reloaded in 2003 as well as The Matrix Revolutions in the same year. The artist has won four Grammy nods for 1999 2001 2002 and 2003. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. She is an Indian-American of first generation who was born in Connecticut. The stage name Mann originates from her husband's name Mankad. But, she has both Aarti Mann as well as Aarti Majumdar for her professional name. Though her first professional career was mostly dominated by small films and television roles, she gained more prominence in the mid-2000s. Some of her most notable roles include Grey's Anatomy, Suits and Leverage. The actress has been featured in a variety of commercials for Volvo's international automobile maker. She has a daughter, who lives in Los Angeles and is pursuing acting.
