Jeanie Marie Buss, an American businesswoman from America. Buss is the founder and director of the Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. Buss, a Californian native, grew up with an affluent life. Jerry Buss' father was a real-estate magnate who later owned the Lakers as well as other sports companies. When she was in the year 1972, her parents separated up and she felt emotionally left out. At 19 years old, she began working for the family's business as general manager for the Los Angeles Strings professional tennis team. Then she founded the Los Angeles Blades team of professional roller hockey. She served as the president of the Great Western Forum, before being elected Vice president of the Lakers. Buss, her five brothers and sisters and their father who was the owner of the Lakers and was their controlling shareholder until the time of his death in 2013, took over this ownership by way of an estate. The five siblings enjoyed equally vote rights. She assumed the office of president for Los Angeles Lakers. Los Angeles Lakers.
